Scouting is a movement of hope — of building a better world by empowering young people to lead it.
As we navigate a rapidly changing Europe, we need a strong, responsive, and united Region that listens to its members and takes bold steps forward.
This vision is grounded in three priorities, both our challenges and our opportunities.

Building Bridges

Bringing the New Strategy to Life
Building Bridges
Europe thrives when we come together.
The Region has immense diversity — in culture, in history, in language — and that is our greatest strength. But we must do more to foster understanding, cooperation, and solidarity across borders.
As a region, we are stronger when we work with each other, not just next to each other.

As International Commissioner, I’ve witnessed the power of strong relationships.
I want to foster:
Dialogue and Cooperation
Strengthen dialogue and cooperation between Member Organizations
Platforms to Share & Solve
Support platforms for International Commissioners to share good practices and solve common challenges
Encourage partnerships
Encourage partnerships beyond Scouting — with youth organisations, institutions, and civil society
Inclusive Growth
Encourage inclusive development by creating mechanisms that allow every MO, regardless of its starting point, to access the tools, partnerships, and support systems that enable growth.
Let’s not build walls — let’s build bridges that last.
Grow with Programme
Yet too often, programme development is not front and centre of our strategic priorities. I believe we must:
- Prioritise educational quality and innovation across all age sections
- Support leaders with tools, resources, and training that connect the Regional level with the grassroots
- Make the Scout Programme more accessible, inclusive and relevant to today’s young people
- Amplify successful initiatives like the Patrol System, Youth Engagement, and Community Impact
- Champion the value of non-formal education in European policy spaces
By putting Programme First, we ensure that our Region remains a meaningful and modern movement.
I’m ready to serve. Let’s build this vision together.
The Scout Programme is our beating heart. It is how we transform ideals into action, and action into impact.
Bringing the New Strategy to Life
Our Regional Committee must be strategic, not reactive. That means aligning our work with the European Scout Strategy, listening to the needs of our members, and making clear, measurable progress.
As a leader with experience in governance and external relations, I will:
- Ensure accountability and transparency in regional work
- Connect our actions with global WOSM priorities and the Sustainable Development Goals
- Help translate strategy into practical support for MO's
- Strengthen the Region’s capacity for resilience, innovation, and digital transformation
- Advocate for youth participation and intergenerational leadership, so the Region reflects the reality of its members
We must not only have a map — we must know how to read it, and walk it, together.
Together, these three priorities form a vision of a Region that is:
- Connected
- Programmatically strong
- Strategically prepared for the future
